National Property Ball - Auckland, October 22

Tēnā koutou katoa

We are most excited about our inaugural National Property Ball to be held alongside our prestigious New Zealand Property Professional Awards. CLICK HERE.
This is a new event on the property industry calendar, providing second-to-none networking opportunities and a chance to celebrate all the talented individuals and businesses that support the highest standards in the property professions.
This promises to be a highlight of the year, and I expect tickets will be sought after. Those who attend will be treated to first-class cuisine, an extensive beverage list all-inclusive and fantastic entertainment from Sean Preston, who received strong reviews for his outstanding performance at our 2021 National Conference.
We've worked hard to keep the ticket price reasonable for members, and for a night at Auckland’s top venue with dinner, drinks, and networking opportunities, you should get in quick.
In a new initiative, we are also offering the ability for early table bookings so you can be assured of a space for your team and/or colleagues.
This will likely appeal to those who're considering entering our awards (more on that shortly), or corporates who have a strong commitment to supporting excellence in the industries we work with.
RESERVE YOUR PLACE HERE.
Thank you to our growing list of sponsors for this prestigious event. We truly value your support!
One of the questions I get frequently asked is whether or not this is accompanied by a traditional national conference.
It is not.
We listened to extensive member feedback, and are delivering regional events such as Valuer Summits and Master Series presentations.
In what are increasingly tough economic times for many, these local events allow our members to conveniently gain the benefit of our strong education programme at less cost for the event and at considerably reduced travel costs closer to home. The first Valuer Summit was held in Auckland last week and generated a terrific response (pictures below), there are more regional events sprinkled throughout 2024 and you can keep up with them on our EVENTS PAGE.
Finally, I'd like to thank all those members who attended our Branch AGMs in the first few months of this year. Our Branches are the engine room of our organisation, providing a critical real-world link to the work you're doing and guiding us on the support we need to provide to deliver on our strategic priorities. We are looking forward to welcoming our Branch Chairs to Wellington in June for our Branch Chairs Day. Do feedback your suggestions and thoughts to them so we can hear your ideas.
Thank you.

SUPPORTING PROPERTY PROFESSIONALS
We're very pleased to welcome the newest sponsors joining our programme for the 2024 National Property Ball and New Zealand Property Professional Awards.
Our commercial partners are demonstrating their commitment to the professions in a time of austerity by helping to make these events more affordable and we appreciate their generosity.
Our new Ball and Awards sponsors are long time supporters of the Institute and we are so grateful for their contribution.

We have a small number of sponsor opportunities available for the award categories and the overall event.
This includes the Exclusive Naming Sponsor, who will receive significant exposure and coverage.
If your business wants to get in front of senior property professionals at a new event on the property calendar email rebecca@property.org.nz.
PROMOTING THE PROFESSIONS
Emerging Professionals Day
The Property Institute's delighted by the response to the recent Emerging Professionals Day held in Christchurch.
It attracted Students, Graduates and Future Leaders, who gathered together to network, and hear from industry experts.
The Institute has a solid programme to promote the professions, and events such as this are a key plank in achieving our objectives to help support and build incredible careers.

LIFELONG LEARNING
Auckland Valuers Summit
Good numbers and excellent feedback for the recent Auckland Valuers Summit.
Attendees completed their compulsory ethics and standards modules and learned more about the Benefits of Sustainability for Buildings, as well as getting some tips on writing Effective Narrative Valuation Reports.
There are two more Regional Summits coming this year, one in Nelson/Marlborough, and another in Tauranga.
