The prestigious New Zealand Property Professional Awards and National Property Ball will be held at Auckland's Cordis Hotel on Tuesday, October 22 this year.

The Awards and National Property Ball will be the highlight of the 2024 calendar for members, and offer a superb opportunity to honour, recognise, and celebrate incredible careers in property.

Members are encouraged to attend and nominate recipients.
Nominations will open in the first quarter of 2024 and the awards will feature two exciting new categories, using the same processes that were so successful last year. Watch this space for more information.

Late last year we announced a plan to de-couple the awards from the National Property Conference which will now be held every two years instead of annually.

This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate, and network, with some of the most senior and respected property industry leaders in New Zealand.

We'll have more information for members in the coming weeks, but for now we're urging you to clear your calendars for this first-class event.

BRANCH AGMs


It's also timely to remind members that Branch AGMs are fast approaching and will be held throughout the country over the next couple of months.

The Institute's Branch network is also asking members to consider standing for their local Branch management committee.

Branches are the lifeblood of the Institutes and their role is to help raise the professional standing of members, and support and promote incredible careers in property. We need your help to foster an engaged and vibrant Branch network to enable collegiality, collaboration, and an exchange of knowledge that empowers members to excel in their respective field and be advocates for the property profession.

Nominations to join your Branch management committee can be made by filling in the form that is available on the event page for your Branch AGM HERE and returning this to the email address noted on your Branch AGM event page.

Nominations are straightforward and can be done prior to, or on the day of, the AGM. Nominations need the support of two other Branch members and self-nominations are permitted. To discuss the role of a management committee member and what is involved, please contact your Branch Chair who will be happy to help.
