Less than a fortnight now until the 2023 National Property Conference and Global Valuation Conference being held in Christchurch.

I'm looking forward to connecting with members face-to-face and hearing from you on issues affecting the valuation industry as a whole.

If you are not yet registered for conference I would strongly urge members to consider making the financial and time investment in Conference to bolster your CPD and connect with valuation colleagues from around New Zealand.

There's no better time to take the opportunity to develop your professional expertise, share your experiences and network with your colleagues.

Important Announcements

2022 Annual Report
Members are invited to review the Annual Report ahead of the Annual General Meeting being held on June 7 in Christchurch. The report including the NZIV financials is available for download HERE. Your NZIV Council has recommended its adoption.

Code of Ethics
Under Sections 101 & 103 of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers Governing Rules a remit relating to the final draft of the NZIV Code of Ethics has been prepared for consideration at the 2023 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 7 June.
A copy of the Code, together with a brief background on its development and purpose, is HERE. Should NZIV members support the remit, the revised Code of Ethics will also require subsequent approval by the Minister for Land Information New Zealand, and formal notification to members, prior to its adoption.
The remit has been reviewed and approved by NZIV Council which recommends its endorsement.
