• NZIV President celebrates new arrival
  • AGMs getting underway

Congratulations to NZIV President Heather Beard on the arrival of a new baby girl earlier this month.
Heather will be taking parental leave as the new baby settles in and has delegated Vice-President Matt Snelgrove to act on her behalf, supported by Vice-President Andrew White, while she is on leave.
The Institute's in safe hands over this period.
NZIV has an ambitious agenda for the 2023 calendar year and your Council continues with its programme at pace.
One of the first major projects in 2023 is the Branch AGM series which gets underway in February, continuing through most of March.
Members are strongly encouraged to attend these events and support their colleagues and communities.

Sad News: Murray Mander 1924 - 2023
NZIV sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Life Member Murray Mander who passed away in early January after a period of illness.
Murray provided a huge contribution to the profession and the Institute over a long period of time - at one point serving as Valuer General. He was also awarded a Queens Service Medal (QSO) in 1985 for services to valuation.
Murray's son, Miles, has generously written more about the life and career of his father and that can be found HERE.
2023 Conference
