Invitation to take part in case law pilot project

Kia ora members!

This brief note is to remind members of a great opportunity to become involved in a six-week trial providing access to members to the complete library of New Zealand property-related case law.

This includes not just the cases themselves, but also summaries and interpretation of outcomes, precedents set, and an extensive range of related matters including for example, tenancy laws and relevant legislation. All this is linked within the system making it super-easy for users.

Tailored, custom training and support will be provided – all free of charge.

As mentioned in the recent President’s newsletter, the idea here is to get a mix of users, ranging from occasional to frequent users. At the end of the trial, our participants will be briefly surveyed on their experience. The results will tell us whether offering such a service to members is likely worthwhile, so your input to that decision is critical.

Rest assured this process will interesting and is designed to impose as little as possible on your time. Indeed, the idea here is to save valuers time in seeking out precedents and cases relevant to their daily undertakings as registered valuers!.

I would really encourage you to consider becoming one of our test pilots for this new initiative - simply email us by clicking HERE. But be quick, because places in the trial are definitely limited.

Ngā mihi
