Keeping safe in uncertain times

It's bloody tough.

If you've got a family, a business, employees and commitments - the uncertainty the latest lockdown brings is not welcome news.

As President of the Property Institute I understand the uncertainty this situation brings.

I urge you to listen to the official advice, and to abide by the lockdown rules and most importantly stay safe.

I note the President of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers has tonight reminded Valuers of their responsibilities under a Level Four lockdown. I offer my unwavering support to the President of NZIV.

That advice is available HERE

The Property Institute is also working hard on behalf of its other professional communities to get more reliable information from the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) about what we can and can't do in this particular scenario.

The whole nation waits in the next few days to find out how serious and how long this lockdown might be.  At this stage none of us can predict what it might look like.  But I can tell you, that as an organisation, the Property Institute of New Zealand and the communities we work with will get dependable information from a team that has navigated these waters before,

Please don't take any risks.  I strongly urge you to follow the COVID 19 official advice.

Be assured, our team will update you as any new information that's relevant for our professions comes to hand.

Stay safe and look after your families.
