This is an NZIV webinar presented by David Paterson PCC Chair.

This webinar explains the disciplinary powers of the Valuers Registration Board in relation to unethical, improper or incompetent conduct by Valuers, and the range of penalties which may be imposed. An explanation of the investigation process will be provided by the Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC), David Paterson whom will also unpack how to avoid misunderstandings that might give rise to spurious complaints and the stressful proceedings that inevitably ensue.

  • David Paterson

    David Paterson is a Senior Consultant with QV with over 40 years valuation and consultancy experience. David has had a long involvement in the Institute with over twenty years as Councillor representing the Southern Region including two stints as Vice President. He was awarded the John M Harcourt Memorial Award in 2014 for his services to the Profession. David is currently the Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee and has presented regularly to members over the last three years.
