2021 Annual General Meeting of
The Property Institute of New Zealand


Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Property Institute of New Zealand will be held in the Great Room 1, Cordis Hotel, Auckland on Wednesday 14 July 2021 at 4.30 pm.

If you are unable to attend the AGM, we encourage you to complete the attached proxy form to ensure that your vote is counted.

The nature of the business to be transacted at the meeting will be:

  1. Welcome
  2. Apologies
  3. Proxies
  4. Minutes of previous meeting
  5. Matters Arising
  6. Presidents Report
  7. Receive and adopt the Annual Report
  8. Receive and adopt the audited financial statements for the 2020 financial year
  9. Announcement of Fellowships
  10. Life Membership
  11. Appointment of Board Members
  12. Appointment of Auditors
  13. Consider any resolution of which proper notice has been given
  14. General Business

    Closure of Meeting

    Any Member wishing any business to be discussed or any resolution to be considered at an annual general meeting shall give notice in writing to the Chief Executive Officer of such business or such resolution not less than twenty (20) Business Days prior to the date of the annual general meeting. Members wishing to submit any resolution may do so until 4.00 pm, 15 June 2021.

    Non-voting members (students, affiliates, members who have been suspended by the Board, or non-financial members) are not entitled to vote at the AGM.

    Minutes of last year's AGM are available below. For those members requiring a hard copy please email robyn@property.org.nz to request a copy.

    Proxy forms must be with the Property Institute no later than 4.00 pm, 9 July 2021. Please email to robyn@property.org.nz or post to the Property Institute of New Zealand, PO Box 5304, Wellington 6145.
