About our presenters:
Phirak Appleton : Phirak has recently joined REA as General Counsel. Phirak is an experienced litigator with over 15 years’ experience working in both the public and private sector. Phirak’s primary areas of focus are on civil litigation, public law decision-making and advising within a Regulatory framework, including prosecutions. Phirak has appeared before various Tribunals, District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal on behalf of government agencies and private entities and occupational bodies.
Sarah Ramsay: Sarah leads the Early Resolution team at the REA, which deals with the complaints and enquiries the REA receives. Sarah has a background in complaint resolution and is an accredited mediator. She is a mediation coach for the Resolution Institute and runs a free community mediation service in Wellington.
