Mike graduated from Massey University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, specialising in valuation and property management, also being awarded the Challenge Property prize of 1983. Joining the Valuation Department in New Plymouth, he worked throughout Taranaki completing Mass Appraisal Valuations. Joining Larmers (now TYT) in 1987, Mike specialises in the urban sphere including residential, commercial and industrial properties, and has experience in a wide range of property valuation and consultancy, including hotels and motels.
With a particular interest in going-concern valuations for specialised properties, Mike has also undertaken plant, equipment and chattel valuations for a variety of business types throughout Taranaki. Clients include financial institutions, local professionals and companies, community authorities and bodies, in addition to private clients.

David has been a registered valuer since 1980 and has significant experience in valuing residential, industrial and commercial property. David is a former NZIV National Council member representing the Canterbury/Westland Branch. He is often called upon to act as an umpire/arbtrator in valuation disputes and has appeared in the Land Valuation Tribunal and High Court as an expert witness. He is currently a Director of Valuation Services at Ford Baker Valuation.
