Although also undertaking some residential based work, commercial valuation has formed Paul's main area of interest since beginning valuing in 2000. This encompasses a wide range of valuation work on retail, office and industrial properties throughout the Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty regions. This includes post-harvest horticultural facilities, accommodation properties, major industrial sites and office complexes. His role sees him valuing such properties throughout the coastal Bay of Plenty region and to provide good coverage for clients, he works from the Te Puke sub office at least one day per week. Paul has been involved on the local Property Institute committee in various roles for over fifteen years and is currently chairperson of the local PINZ committee.
Paul finds each commercial job to be a challenge to be worked through and an opportunity to grow my knowledge of the market. Paul takes great pride in the extensive database of commercial sales and rental data that our firm has accumulated through market research and regular contact with building owners, tenants and real estate agencies. He endeavours to produce a thorough report conveying as much relevant information as is practical.
