Profile:
Boyd is a senior primary industry property professional with a sound grounding and breadth of experience across a diverse range of Primary Industry sector assets throughout New Zealand. This experience has been obtained over the past 28 years while practicing as a Rural Valuer. Boyd enjoys the opportunity to understand you and your property features and the challenges presented by the resulting valuation assignments.
In addition to his broad knowledge base, Boyd has in-depth knowledge of specialised assets in horticulture (apples, avocado, kiwifruit, cherries, stone fruit, berries), viticulture/wineries, apiaries and controlled environments. He is regularly approached to undertake valuations of one-off agribusiness assets or entities with unique agribusiness components.
Boyd is on the New Zealand Institute of Valuers Council.
To relax Boyd enjoys spending time supporting his two daughters in their academic, sporting and leisure activities. He’ll regularly be found with his wife, relaxing and enjoying their garden, and when the weather’s good, fishing and tramping.
