Richard Ashley Cooper passed away on the 10 of May 2017.
Richard was a Lieutenant Colonel and the last Director of Signals in the New Zealand Army.

He spent some years overseas in mainly peace keeping roles in India and Pakistan and the Sinai in the Middle East. Also he had four years in Singapore with New Zealand defence and mostly working in Malaysia.

Later Richard had a thriving property management business in Auckland .

Richard had a Master of Philosophy from Massey University and was a Justice of the Peace, working on the North Shore and at the CAB in Browns Bay.

Richard was 69 and leaves his wife, two children and four grandchildren.
