As a property professional there are several membership options available throughout a member’s career;

Student/Graduate Membership – Open to anyone who is currently studying/has recently completed a Property Institute accredited qualification.

Affiliate Membership – Open to anyone who is actively involved in providing professional services to the property industry (a Property Institute accredited qualification is not required).

Full Member (MPINZ) – Open to any member who has been employed in the property profession for at least two years, and complied with the Institute’s CPD
requirements for a minimum of two years, including our Ethics and Standards modules.

Registered Member – Open to any member who has been MPINZ for 12 months, resident and practicing in New Zealand and who is fully compliant with
CPD requirements.

Senior Member (SPINZ) – Open to any member who has 8 years post graduation experience and achieved registration either with the VRB or the Property Institute.

Fellow (FPINZ) – A member may be nominated for Fellowship of the Institute if they are deemed to have attained a significant professional standing. This
includes recognition for services to the industry and to the Institute over an extended period. Nomination is from one of the Institute’s Branch Committees.
Fellowships are awarded at the discretion of the Institute’s Board of Directors.
